Position Details: - Specialty: Pediatric Psychiatry - Location: Salem, Massachusetts - Start Date: November 30, 2026 - Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only - Practice Setting: Inpatient Pediatric Psychiatry - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5 × 8-hour shifts) - Call: No call - EMR: Epic - Average Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients - Patient Population: Children and adolescents, ages 3–18 - Support Staff: 1 MD and 2 NPs Coverage Dates Needed: - November 30–December 4, 2026 - December 28, 2026–January 1, 2027 - January 11–15, 2027 - January 25–29, 2027 - February 22–26, 2027 - March 8–12, 2027 Clinical Responsibilities: - Round on patients on the inpatient pediatric psychiatry unit. - Evaluate and manage children and adolescents with psychiatric conditions. - Provide care for patients presenting with conditions such as suicidal ideation, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, and defiant behaviors. Requirements: - Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Psychiatry. - Active Massachusetts medical license required. - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
