Job Description: An established inpatient behavioral health facility in Naples, Florida is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its adult inpatient team. This is a full-time attending physician opportunity focused entirely on patient care, with no Medical Director or administrative responsibilities. You'll work alongside experienced nurse practitioners and a collaborative multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality psychiatric care in a well-supported inpatient setting. The facility maintains an average daily census in the 50s, allowing physicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a structured clinical environment. Manage a daily census of approximately 10–12 adult inpatients. Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications. Develop and update individualized treatment plans. Assess patient safety, clinical stability, and readiness for discharge. Collaborate with nurse practitioners, nursing staff, therapists, case management, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Complete timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation. Participate in a shared weekend coverage schedule of two weekends per month. Qualifications: Qualifications: Required: MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure Active, unrestricted DEA registration Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred: Experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting Experience treating adult psychiatric patients Comfort working within a multidisciplinary team environment Working Hours: Schedule: Monday through Friday Full-time employed (W-2) Two weekends of inpatient coverage per month Adult inpatient behavioral health setting Skills: Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will be: Passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care Comfortable managing an adult inpatient population Collaborative and team-oriented Committed to providing high-quality clinical documentation Skilled at working effectively with advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary care teams
