Location: Valdosta, GA Inpatient Psychiatry Opportunity A 140-bed behavioral health hospital in Valdosta, Georgia is seeking a General Adult Psychiatrist to join its growing team. The hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare across inpatient services, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP), allowing physicians to work within a full continuum of psychiatric care. Position Highlights - 140-bed behavioral health hospital - Comprehensive inpatient behavioral health services - PHP and IOP programs - Collaborative clinical team - Competitive compensation and benefits package - Anticipated Start Date: September 14 Job Responsibilities: • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments • Diagnose and treat adult behavioral health conditions • Develop individualized treatment plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams • Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care Qualifications: • MD or DO • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry • Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
