Psychiatric APRN Opening Gloucester, MA Boston 45m Full Time Permanent Position Seeking Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join outpatient psychiatry team in Gloucester, Massachusetts Position Highlights: Outpatient Psychiatry practice Provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients with a wide range of mental health conditions Collaborative environment working alongside psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, counselors, and other behavioral health professionals Focus on evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care Supportive clinical environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans Provide psychopharmacologic management Deliver psychotherapy and counseling interventions as appropriate Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team members Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement and patient outcome initiatives Clinical Expertise Desired: Strong knowledge of DSM-based psychiatric diagnosis and treatment Experience providing psychotherapy and medication management Commitment to evidence-based psychiatric practice Ongoing participation in continuing education and professional development Expertise in psychotropic medication prescribing with focus on: - Patient safety - Therapeutic effectiveness - Minimizing side effects - Managing drug interactions Desired Skills: Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities Excellent treatment planning and implementation skills Analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities Understanding of outcomes measurement and data reporting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team-based model Qualifications: Graduate of accredited APRN program Completion of all educational and certification requirements for Psychiatric APRN practice in Massachusetts Active Massachusetts APRN license DEA registration preferred Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration preferred Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $149,968 - $190,652 annually Compensation based on experience, education, certifications, and responsibilities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off CME and professional development opportunities Malpractice coverage Supportive multidisciplinary practice environment Community Highlights: Located in Gloucester, Massachusetts Historic coastal community on Boston's North Shore Beautiful beaches, boating, fishing, and outdoor recreation Vibrant arts, dining, and cultural scene Easy access to Boston and surrounding academic medical centers Outstanding quality of life with coastal New England charm
