Aya Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatry physician (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred) for a part-time locum tenens opportunity at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Start date 12/14/2026. California-based providers only. - Acute care hospital affiliated with UCSF Health - Adolescent patient population, approx. 6-12 patients per day - Coverage: 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday/Tuesday - Epic charting system - Public transportation available via BART with shuttles to each campus Job Responsibilities: • Cover 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday/Tuesday • Weekend rounding (approx. 6 hours starting at 8am) with 24-hour call coverage • Monday/Tuesday on-site 8a-5p followed by night call until 8a, including placing admission orders • See approximately 6-12 patients per day • Develop individualized treatment plans and lead the multidisciplinary team Qualifications: • Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, or Board Certified in General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship • Active California license (CA residents only) • California DEA with Schedule 2/2n required • BLS (AHA) required • Experience with psychiatric medications and psychotherapies in children and adolescents • Experience managing challenging behaviors and de-escalation Working Hours: 2 weekends per month plus following Monday/Tuesday; Mon/Tues 8a-5p on site then night call until 8a; Weekends ~6 hrs rounding from 8am then on call until 8am next day For more information and to apply, please apply via the DocCafe link, or schedule time to speak with me via the calendar link below.
