You’ll work side by side with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to care for patients in psychiatric and at-risk settings. What You’ll Do: - Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders in collaboration with physicians - Complete comprehensive assessments, including health history, risk factors, family and psychosocial context, cultural factors, and physical exams - Prescribe and monitor medications, adjusting treatment plans as patients’ needs evolve - Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests, and consult with other clinicians when needed - Offer individual and group therapy - Educate patients and families on medications, mental health conditions, and wellness - Support discharge planning and coordinate care between visits, including triaging patient calls and messages - Link patients and families with community resources and case management - Take part in quality reviews, chart reviews, staff education, and clinical guideline development - Document care accurately and uphold patient confidentiality and advocacy What You’ll Bring: - Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing - 5+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome - Strong knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders - Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills Why You’ll Love It Here: - Competitive salary: $120,000–$150,000, based on experience and qualifications - Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance - Generous paid time off and paid holidays - Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support - Join a growing network investing in advanced technology and community-based care Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
