Join an accredited outpatient addiction treatment center in Midtown Manhattan as a Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions- just one day a week! What You'll Do: - Evaluate and monitor the mental, emotional, and behavioral status of patients in an integrated care setting - Complete diagnostic evaluations and maintain thorough, compliant documentation - Collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, nurses, and counseling staff to support optimal outcomes - Support medication-assisted treatment (methadone, buprenorphine, vivitrol) alongside individual/group counseling - Build goal-directed, trust-based relationships with patients to support their recovery journey - Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings - Recognize when to refer patients to specialty services and follow up appropriately What You'll Bring: - Active NY medical license (MD/DO) or PMHNP-BC certification - Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry (Addiction Psychiatry certification a plus for MDs) - Experience treating adults with substance use disorders - Comfort working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient setting Why You'll Love It Here: - Competitive hourly pay: $200/hr (Psychiatrist) or $90–$125/hr (PMHNP) - Just 1 day per week, weekday daytime hours (no Fridays) - Flexibility to transition to telehealth after the first month on-site - Convenient Manhattan location - Make a genuine impact in a mission-driven, accredited treatment center Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
