Job Responsibilities: • Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. • Manage medication and prescribe psychotropic medications. • Conduct case reviews, treatment team meetings, and patient admissions. • Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies. • Manage approximately 20 patients and complete required clinical documentation. Qualifications: • Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN). • Active New York Medical License. • DEA required to start. • BLS required. • Must successfully complete the credentialing and privileging process. • Willingness to cover all inpatient units if participating in on-call coverage. Working Hours: • Monday–Friday • 8:00 AM–4:30 PM • 40 hours per week • Additional Physician On-Call (POC) hours may be available, up to 40 hours/week. • Full in-person orientation required.
