Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the San Francisco Bay Area | California Details/Requirements: *Need starts ASAP for a locum tenens Psychiatrist for 32+ hours a week treating SMI adult outpatients. *Prefer local candidates and 100% in-person services. If necessary, however, they will consider some type of hybrid schedule. *Hours: 8-5 M-F. *No call. *Need a doctor with SMI experience and experience prescribing Clozaril as well as prescribing meds for patients with schizophrenia, bipolar, very severe treatment resistant depression, etc. *Initial evaluations are 60-90 minutes and medication follow ups are 20-30 minutes. For patients new to the doctor, can spend longer with the patient based on what’s best for the patient. *Client has an E.H.R., so candidates must be computer savvy and they use Ring Central for tele health. *Credentialing process takes 6-8 weeks, depending on how the candidate submits paperwork. *Board certification is preferred, not required. *Offering a competitive compensation and benefits package for the permanent position.
