A well-established healthcare organization in Meadville, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join its behavioral health team. Job Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management Treat patients across a behavioral health setting, with potential outpatient and/or inpatient responsibilities Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Collaborate with therapists, APPs, primary care providers, nursing staff, and other clinical team members Support continuity of care for patients requiring ongoing psychiatric treatment Participate in care coordination, documentation, and clinical case discussions Maintain a patient-centered, compassionate approach to behavioral health care Contribute to the long-term growth and stability of the psychiatric program Qualifications: MD or DO degree required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active or eligible Pennsylvania medical license DEA registration required Comfortable treating adult psychiatric patients Experience with inpatient, outpatient, or community-based psychiatry preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Must be interested in a long-term opportunity in Meadville, PA Relocation candidates welcome Working Hours: Full-time position Monday through Friday schedule anticipated Stable weekday structure Final schedule details to be discussed directly with qualified candidates Skills: Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis Medication management Adult psychiatry Crisis stabilization experience preferred Inpatient and/or outpatient behavioral health experience Collaborative care Treatment planning Patient-centered communication Long-term clinical commitment Strong documentation and follow-through
