This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing care to adolescents and adults. Job Responsibilities: Perform admission assessments for new patients. Complete initial psychiatric evaluations. Conduct weekly follow-up visits for residential patients. Manage a patient census of approximately 12–15 patients per day. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary care team. Provide supervision and clinical guidance to advanced practice providers as needed. Qualifications: MD or DO with Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry Active state medical license (or eligibility to obtain if applicable) Current BLS Certification Experience treating adolescent and adult psychiatric patients Eating Disorder experience is preferred but not required Working Hours: Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Call: 1 week of call coverage Start Date: ASAP (Assignment expected to continue with the possibility of extension) Skills: Strong psychiatric assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills Patient-centered and compassionate approach to care
