Job Title: Psychiatrist Location: Fort Carson, CO 80913 Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients; prescribe medications and appropriate therapies. • Provide psychiatric assessments, crisis intervention, and preventive care. • Order diagnostic tests and coordinate referrals and consultations as needed. • Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans accordingly. • Provide clinical guidance, staff education, and professional consultation. • Participate in quality assurance, peer review, risk management, and performance improvement programs. • Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable clinical standards. Required Qualifications • MD or DO degree from an eligible medical institution. • Completion of an accredited residency program consistent with specialty requirements. • Board certification recognized by ABMS or the AOA, as applicable to credentialing requirements. • Current, full, active, and unrestricted U.S. medical license. • Clinical experience meeting applicable credentialing and competency requirements.
