We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens position in Longview, Washington. This opportunity covers both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings located approximately five minutes from one another. Please see below for more information. - 126-bed hospital - Epic EMR Job Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric care to an adult patient population across both inpatient and outpatient settings Manage an average daily census of 12-14 patients Perform rounding, admissions, and discharges on the inpatient unit Provide outpatient clinic coverage Provide weekend inpatient telepsychiatry coverage Practice independently as the sole psychiatric provider on service Hold and maintain both clinic and hospital privileges Provide documentation of clinical services performed within the previous 24 months representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed Qualifications: Board Certified in Psychiatry Active Washington state medical license required, in hand at time of presentation; IMLC not accepted for this position BLS required Epic EMR charting experience required Working Hours: Day shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Clinic days: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch Split inpatient/outpatient days: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM inpatient, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM clinic Occasional 7:30 AM start when court is scheduled Weekend inpatient telepsychiatry coverage; may be performed remotely for providers residing in Washington Occasional night call; scheduled coverage with optional on-call For more information and to apply, please apply via the DocCafe link, or schedule time to speak with me via the calendar link below.
