Psychiatrist – Region 5 – Mental Health Location: Columbus, OH Pay rate: $205- $215/hr. on W2 Employment Type: Full-Time Hours: 24–40 hours/week; typically, closer to 40 Schedule: Monday–Friday | No weekends or holidays Duration: 6+ months Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing Benefits: Malpractice Insurance, Health Insurance, Free Parking, Paid Orientation Travel: Various DODD facilities throughout Ohio; assignments provided in advance Job Summary Seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services to individuals receiving care through facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience treating both adults and children and be located in Columbus or the surrounding Ohio area. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions. • Provide psychiatric assessments, psychotherapy, counseling, and medication management. • Monitor and coordinate psychiatric care with medical, nursing, and direct-care staff. • Review patient records and ensure appropriate documentation. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams. • Participate in psychiatry-related training, lectures, and quality improvement activities. Required Qualifications • Active Ohio Medical License • Completed Psychiatry Residency • Psychiatrist qualified to practice in Ohio • Experience treating adults and children • CPR certification • DEA registration • NPI and PECOS enrollment
