Quick Facts - Location: Clinton, NC - Start Date: 10/13/2026 - Shift: 12-hour solo ER shifts, 7 AM – 7 PM - Hours per Week: 36 - Employment Type: Temporary/Locum - Licensed/Certifications: NC Medical License, NC Medicaid credentialed, PECOS enrollment required - Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred Pay & Benefits - Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr - Benefits: - Competitive pay packages - Weekly pay via direct deposit - Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) - Robust referral bonus program - Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws - Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement support - Travel costs capped at $500 What You’ll Do - Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for approximately 30-32,000 annual patients in a busy hospital setting - Manage a patient volume of around 90-100 patients daily, with physicians typically seeing 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift - Use Meditech 6.1 EMR to document patient interactions - Collaborate with mid-level providers on ICU coverage and patient care - Support open ICU environment and ensure quality patient outcomes - Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations What You Need Required: - NC Medical License and DEA - NC Medicaid credentialed and PECOS enrollment - Prior emergency medicine experience Preferred: - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ER setting - Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare provider in Clinton, NC, offering an engaging ER environment with a significant patient volume.
