CONTACT: Katie Patterson 843-574-8234 katie@nowhealthcare.org Company: - Community health organization operating multiple locations across South Carolina - Follows a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model of care - Works collaboratively across disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and other health professionals, to deliver integrated behavioral healthcare Compensation: - Competitive base salary - Comprehensive benefits package - Great PTO - $10,000 sign-on bonus Job/Practice Description: Psychiatric NP/PA - Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - Works at several locations, prioritized by patient volume — 2 days per week based in Hartsville, SC - Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations - Diagnose and manage mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia - Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the primary care provider, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications - Provide crisis intervention and ongoing psychotherapy as appropriate - Complete timely EMR documentation for each patient encounter - Request, obtain, and evaluate screening test results - Monitor treatment regimens in selected populations - Confer with collaborating physician as needed - Participate in quality assurance reviews and practice transformation initiatives - Serve as an advocate and liaison to local hospitals and health organizations - Functions under a collaborative practice agreement per South Carolina regulations Requirements: - Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, or Master's in Physician Assistant Sciences from an accredited program - Licensed as an APRN or PA in South Carolina - National certification (nurse practitioner certifying body, or NCCPA for PAs) - PMHNP-BC certification preferred (or CAQ in Psychiatry from NCCPA for PAs) - Minimum 2 years of psychiatric NP/PA experience strongly preferred - BLS certification required Location offers: - Small, friendly town in the Pee Dee region known for its close-knit community feel - Home to Kalmia Gardens, a 35-acre botanical garden with woods, a pond, and the historic Thomas Hart House - Scenic Prestwood Lake and Hartsville Community Lake, great for fishing, picnicking, and walking - Several city parks, including Lawton Park, Burry Park, and a dog park - Neptune Island Waterpark, a family-friendly attraction for all ages - Home to Coker University and the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics - Charming, walkable downtown with historic sites and thriving small businesses - About 30 minutes from Cheraw State Park, offering scenic hiking trails and a lake - Rich cultural scene with museums, arts programs, and community festivals year-round For confidential consideration or more information: Katie Patterson 843.574.8234 katie@nowhealthcare.org
