We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a locum tenens position in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a part-time psychiatric emergency department opportunity at a pediatric hospital, with flexible scheduling available. Please see below for more information. - Level I Pediatric Trauma Center Job Responsibilities: • Provide psychiatric evaluation and management in a pediatric psychiatric emergency department • Treat a patient population ages 3 to 21, primarily ages 6 to 18 • Carry a daily patient load that rarely exceeds 10 patients • Practice paired with a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner • Apply established clinical experience in inpatient psychiatry or psychiatric emergency care Qualifications: • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry • Active Connecticut medical license or IMLC • DEA Working Hours: 8-hour shifts, typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with some flexibility Day and weekend shifts available Part-time coverage No call For more information and to apply, please apply via the DocCafe link, or schedule time to speak with me via the calendar link below.
