Quick Facts - Location: Bay City, MI - Start Date: 10/14/2026 - End Date: December 4, 2026 - Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (onsite) - Hours/Week: 40 - Employment Type: Temporary/Locum - License/Certs: BLS required - Experience: Prior inpatient rehab experience preferred Pay & Benefits - Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate (rate discussed upon application) - Benefits: - Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit - Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) - Robust referral bonus program - Paid sick time per state/federal law - Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (within policy limits) What You’ll Do - Provide face-to-face inpatient physiatry care within 24 hours of admission - Conduct daily rounding and patient consults on a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit - Participate in scheduled team conferences (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) - Manage adult rehab patients with 10-20 patients per day - Document care per CMS guidelines and perform post-admission evaluations - Prescribe medications, complete discharge summaries, and update weekly care plans - Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes What You Need Required: - Valid BLS certification - Experience with adult inpatient rehab (preferred) - Ability to conduct face-to-face patient evaluations and documentation Preferred: - Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience - Knowledge of CMS documentation requirements About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading healthcare provider in Bay City, MI, on an inpatient rehab unit (Level III trauma designation). You'll be providing essential physiatry services for adult patients, focusing solely on inpatient care without outpatient responsibilities.
