Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opening Cooperstown, NY Full Time Permanent Position Seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join behavioral health team in Cooperstown, New York Position Highlights: Work within comprehensive psychiatry department including: - Inpatient psychiatry unit expanding from 14 to 20 beds - Emergency department psychiatric consult services - Medical-surgical inpatient consult services - Outpatient psychiatry clinics and telepsychiatry services Collaborative psychiatric team of physicians and PMHNPs Diverse patient population including children, adolescents, and adults Combination of diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and crisis intervention Academic healthcare network affiliated with Columbia University Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment Manage psychiatric medications and treatment plans Provide crisis intervention services Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Qualifications: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification required Experience treating adult psychiatric patient population required Active New York license or ability to obtain Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation range: $130,000 - $145,000 Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off Continuing medical education (CME) support Estimated pay range/amount is $122,738 - $150,599.
