In Person Psychiatric Mental Health NP Opening Charlottesville, VA Full Time | PMHNP Onsite Patient Care Only Local Candidates Considered At This Time Position Highlights: Full-time opportunity with a 3.5-day workweek, Monday-Friday No nights or weekends Combination of onsite patient care and remote documentation Provide psychiatric care primarily to older adult patients Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Evaluate behavioral and patient safety concerns Provide brief interventions and behavioral management Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across multiple care settings Coverage area includes Lynchburg and Appomattox Comprehensive clinical and administrative support Qualifications: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Active, unrestricted Virginia PMHNP-C license Active DEA registration or willingness to obtain Experience with older adults or Post-Acute Care preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits: Estimated annual compensation of $80,000-$110,000 Uncapped productivity income potential Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Health savings account Flexible spending account Flexible time off Professional liability insurance Comprehensive onboarding and training program Company-issued iPad for remote access and collaboration Extensive back-office, clinical, and local management support
