📋 Position Description We are seeking a Psychiatry Physician for an urgent locum tenens opportunity in Eugene, Oregon. This is an adult inpatient psychiatry assignment in a hospital setting with approximately 35 beds. The physician will provide inpatient psychiatric care, including rounding and admissions, while working alongside other providers — you will not be working solo. ✨ Opportunity Highlights - 📍 Eugene, Oregon - 🧠 Adult Inpatient Psychiatry - 🕐 10-hour daytime shifts - 🚫 No Call - 💻 Epic EMR - 👥 Supportive team environment - 🚀 Urgent start - 🎓 8 hours of non-billable orientation - 📅 Ongoing coverage need with potential for extension Job Responsibilities: 👨‍⚕️ Job Responsibilities 🧠 Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients 🏥 Conduct daily patient rounds 📝 Complete admissions and appropriate clinical documentation 🤝 Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team 📋 Provide consultative psychiatric services as required 💻 Document patient care in Epic 🩺 Deliver safe, high-quality psychiatric care within hospital privileges Qualifications: 🎓 Qualifications 🪪 Active Oregon medical license 🧠 Psychiatry specialty ❤️ Current BLS certification 🏥 Recent inpatient or consultative psychiatry experience 📊 Minimum qualifying case experience for requested privileges 📋 Ability to satisfy hospital credentialing and privileging requirements Working Hours: 10-hour daytime shifts 🕗 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM 📅 Coverage follows a Tuesday–Monday alternating weekly schedule. 🚫 No call 🔄 No block schedule 🎓 8 hours of non-billable orientation Skills: 🛠️ Skills 🧠 Adult inpatient psychiatry 🏥 Inpatient psychiatric care 🩺 Psychiatric evaluation and treatment 📋 Patient rounding and admissions 🤝 Multidisciplinary collaboration 💻 Epic EMR 📝 Clinical documentation 🚨 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
