Quick Facts - Location: Richland, WA - Start Date: 10/17/2026 - End Date/Duration: Ongoing through 2027 (with December 2026 coverage needs) - Schedule: Inpatient, 7a-7p, with night call (weeknight beeper call) - Shifts per Month: 2 full weeks (minimum), 12 hours per day guaranteed - Hours/week: 24-36 (including call; OT after 12 hours per day) - Employment Type: Locum Tenens - Licenses/Certs: Active or IMLC license, DEA, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Cardiology - Experience: Inpatient cardiology, rounding, and call coverage Pay & Benefits - Pay Rate: $6,000 per day (inclusive of all inpatient hours and night call) - Benefits: - Competitive pay packages - Weekly pay via direct deposit - Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) - Robust referral bonus program - Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable - Paid sick time per law - Paid orientation and potential for overtime/holiday pay What You’ll Do - Provide inpatient cardiology assessments, management, and rounding - Cover inpatient units during scheduled shifts and on-call nights - Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care - Document clinical encounters thoroughly and accurately - Manage complex cases requiring cardiology expertise - Participate in ongoing patient management and emergency responses - Maintain compliance with credentialing and hospital protocols What You Need - Current CV uploaded for credentialing - Valid license in Washington state or IMLC license - Active DEA registration - Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Cardiology - Minimum of 2 full weeks of inpatient coverage per month - Proven inpatient cardiology experience and ability to manage call shifts effectively - Strong clinical skills and collaborative attitude About the Assignment This assignment at a leading facility in Richland, WA offers ongoing inpatient cardiology coverage, emphasizing high-quality patient care and team collaboration.
