Why You'll Love This Opportunity $25,000 Commencement Bonus Monday-Friday schedule No overnight call requirements Leadership role with a balance of clinical and administrative responsibilities Adult Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Opportunity to supervise Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) Collaborative multidisciplinary team Strong organizational support Comprehensive benefits package Position Highlights Full-time, on-site position Medical Director for Adult Inpatient Psychiatry and PHP Clinical patient census of approximately 16 patients per day Leadership responsibilities while maintaining an active clinical practice Supervision and mentorship of PMHNPs Opportunity to influence quality initiatives and program development Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adult inpatient and PHP patients Serve as Medical Director, providing clinical leadership for psychiatric services Supervise and mentor Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) Lead interdisciplinary treatment team meetings Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and hospital leadership Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Promote a culture of compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care Qualifications Required MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified in Psychiatry Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain Experience treating adult inpatient psychiatric populations Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered behavioral healthcare Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package $25,000 Commencement Bonus Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off CME allowance and paid CME time Paid malpractice insurance Retirement plan Professional licensing reimbursement Leadership development opportunities Additional comprehensive employee benefits About Ambler, Pennsylvania Located just 16 miles north of Center City Philadelphia, Ambler is one of Montgomery County's most charming communities.
