Our growing boutique outpatient mental health practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking a compassionate and clinically confident Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our expanding clinical team. We provide personalized psychiatric care for adults while incorporating both traditional psychiatric treatment and innovative interventional services, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® (esketamine), and IM ketamine treatment. This is an excellent opportunity for a PMHNP who values individualized patient care, clinical autonomy, collaboration, and the flexibility of a hybrid practice model. The Opportunity - Full-time, Monday–Friday - Hybrid schedule: 1–2 days onsite in Fort Lauderdale and 3–4 days remote/telehealth - Established outpatient psychiatric patient population - Adult patients with a broad range of psychiatric conditions - Collaborative team including psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and neuromodulation providers - Opportunity to participate in an expanding practice offering innovative psychiatric treatments - Significant telehealth flexibility - Candidates residing in Broward, Palm Beach, or Miami-Dade County preferred Job Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including: Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnosing and treating adult psychiatric conditions Providing ongoing psychiatric medication management Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications in accordance with Florida law Monitoring treatment response, medication effectiveness, and adverse effects Providing patient education and supportive/brief therapeutic interventions Maintaining continuity of care for an established patient panel Collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, PMHNPs, and neuromodulation providers Coordinating care and referrals when higher levels of treatment or additional services are indicated Maintaining accurate and timely EHR documentation Providing care through telehealth as part of the hybrid model Qualifications: Patient Population The practice treats adults experiencing a variety of psychiatric conditions, including: Depression Anxiety disorders PTSD Bipolar disorder OCD ADHD Other mood and psychiatric disorders Qualifications Required: Active PMHNP-BC certification through ANCC Active Florida APRN license Master's degree or DNP from an accredited nursing program Appropriate prescribing authority in Florida Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and psychopharmacology Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Comfortable providing telehealth services Ability to work 1–2 days per week onsite in Fort Lauderdale Preferred: 2+ years of psychiatric medication-management experience Outpatient psychiatry experience Telepsychiatry experience Experience treating a diverse adult psychiatric population Spanish/English bilingual proficiency EHR experience Experience in a multidisciplinary mental health practice Interest or experience with TMS, Spravato®, ketamine, neuromodulation, or interventional psychiatry What We Offer Competitive annual salary Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Bonus opportunities Hybrid work flexibility Professional development opportunities Collaborative clinical environment Opportunity to work with innovative psychiatric and neuromodulation treatments Opportunity to grow with an expanding outpatient mental health practice Why Join Us?
