Flexible Scheduling • One weekend per month or more available • PRN opportunities available • W2 or 1099 options • Supplemental income with minimal commitment • Established inpatient programs and clinical support teams • Adult psychiatry patient populations Whether you're looking to supplement your current practice, maintain clinical involvement after retirement, or add flexible inpatient work to your schedule, we would love to speak with you. Position Highlights: Inpatient Psychiatry Weekend Rounding Flexible Commitment Birmingham Metro Area W2 or Independent Contractor (1099) Available Competitive Compensation Job Responsibilities: Working at one or more local Birmingham metro area hospitals Weekend rounding with Mid-Level Providers Med Floor and ED consults Limited number of admits and discharges Sign all notes from mid-levels Night call Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified in Psychiatry Active Alabama medical license or ability to obtain one DEA registration or eligibility Excellent communication and leadership skills Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday round and go - no set hours
