Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist opportunity in the Tampa / Wesley Chapel, FL area. Job Responsibilities: Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management Treat child and adolescent patients as the primary population See additional age groups if clinically appropriate and aligned with provider preference Develop and manage treatment plans based on patient needs Collaborate with therapists, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support continuity of care and appropriate follow-up for patients Participate in a high-volume outpatient model with established patient demand Provide quality psychiatric care in a structured, team-based environment Qualifications: MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Child & Adolescent Psychiatry training strongly preferred Active or eligible Florida medical license Comfortable treating child and adolescent patients Open to outpatient medication management Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and documentation habits Comfortable working in a busy outpatient setting Addiction, dual diagnosis, or broader lifespan experience is a plus, but not required Working Hours: Full-time outpatient schedule Wesley Chapel / Tampa area In-person outpatient role Exact schedule and structure can be discussed based on provider availability and clinic needs Best fit for someone open to a steady patient volume and consistent outpatient workflow Skills: Child & adolescent psychiatry Outpatient psychiatric care Medication management Diagnostic evaluations Treatment planning Patient and family communication Team-based collaboration EMR documentation Comfort with high patient demand Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality care
