Position Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care in a 24-bed unit. This ongoing opportunity offers a structured 7-on/7-off schedule and includes inpatient responsibilities, emergency room consultations, and general hospital consults. Key Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric care in a 24-bed inpatient unit (including a 6-bed adolescent unit) Conduct ER and general hospital consults across all age groups and diagnoses Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, social workers, and discharge staff Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management Participate in on-call coverage (1–2 nights per 7-day rotation) Work alongside another psychiatrist on alternating weekly schedules Schedule & Work Environment: Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off Setting: Inpatient psychiatric unit (adjacent to general hospital) Telemedicine may be used for some consults Support Staff 1–2 Advanced Practice Providers (availability may vary) Dedicated social work, intake, and discharge planning teams Requirements: Board Certified in Psychiatry Experience in inpatient psychiatric care Comfortable treating all age groups (adolescent and adult populations) Proficiency with EPIC EMR Ability to manage a broad range of psychiatric conditions
