The facility features a 52-bed department with strong support for locum providers, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced working environment. Opportunity: Physician (MD) - Psychiatry Job Details: - Provide inpatient psychiatric services with 15 patient encounters per shift - Must hold an active Kentucky license or IMLC to be considered - Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible accepted - BLS certification required - Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days - Treat and manage anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders - Conduct and manage involuntary commitments in accordance with applicable regulations - Provide and oversee seclusion therapy as clinically appropriate - Perform restraint application when necessary - Administer and manage pharmacotherapy for psychiatric conditions - Facilitate group therapy sessions - Nearest airport is Lexington, KY with lodging options including Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, and Airbnb - Start date: 9/14/2026 - Ongoing Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
