We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing group practice in Fredericksburg, Texas. Role Overview- Schedule: 2 days a week, Monday to Friday - Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in their short-term units - Conduct documentation at home with provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of seeing patients Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments - Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care - Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a mental health diagnosis - Prescribe and manage medications - Ensure timely and accurate documentation Requirements- Hold a valid full PMHNP license - Active TX license - Active DEA preferred but not required - Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required Compensation Compensation is fee for service (FFS).
