OPEN POSITION: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) SCHEDULE: - Full-Time - 32 Hours Per Week - 4 Days per Week - Monday to Friday (with one day off) - 8:00am to 5:00pm - No Weekends - No Evenings - No Holidays - No On-Call COMPENSATION: - $140,000 Annual Base Salary - Housing Provided (if provider lives 60+ miles from office) - Malpractice Insurance - Health Insurance - 4 Weeks Paid Time Off - 11 Paid Holidays - 401k - W2 Position - Full Details Negotiable LOCATION: Savannah, Tennessee COMPANY PROFILE: This position is with a Veterans’ Administration (VA) community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) located in Savannah, Tennessee. The new provider will join a team of compassionate, experienced clinicians dedicated to serving this vulnerable patient population. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new PMHNP will work independently, while also being part of a larger treatment team, seeing patients in a comfortable outpatient setting for conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. PMHNPs see an average of 10 to 12 patients per day. All work is in the outpatient clinic and supported by dedicated clinical assistants. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: - psychiatric evaluation and management - diagnosis and treatment of patients - consultations - evaluation and management of memory problems - treatment of depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders The practice utilizes an EHR. If the new PMHNP lives more than 60 miles from the clinic location, the organization will provide fully paid and furnished housing near the office. The schedule is a 4-day work week and the provider may choose to have Monday or Friday off, ensuring a 3-day weekend.
