Position Overview As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes a psychiatrist, fellow PMHNPs, social workers, and behavioral health specialists. The typical patient load is 14-17 individuals per day, with scribe support available for those seeing more than 15 patients. While the position is primarily outpatient, occasional emergency room consultations may occur. Position Highlights - Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday - No weekend work and minimal call (1:16 by phone) - Collaborative team including psychiatrists and social workers - Focus on a broad range of psychiatric conditions - Scribe support available for high patient volumes - Opportunity to serve a diverse patient population - Strong community roots and commitment to rural healthcare Compensation & Benefits - Salary: $157,000, including $15,000 in quality incentive bonuses - RVU bonuses - $15,000 sign-on bonus - Student loan assistance: $18,000 for a 3-year commitment - $8,000 for CME, licenses, dues, subscriptions - 401k with a match - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance - Annual raises - 6 weeks of PTO for years 1-5 - 1 additional week for CME Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for rural healthcare and community service.
