Position Overview We are seeking qualified Psychiatry Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Oregon. This assignment involves providing psychiatric care to an adult patient population in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The physician will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team and will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, patient management, rounding, admissions, and treatment planning. Assignment Details - Adult inpatient behavioral health setting - Approximately 32–35 beds - Monday through Friday schedule - 11-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM - No call responsibilities - Collaborative team environment - Provider will not work solo - Electronic Medical Record experience preferred Responsibilities - Provide psychiatric care to adult patients in an inpatient setting - Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments - Manage admissions and daily patient rounding - Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans - Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation - Meet all facility credentialing and privileging requirements Requirements - MD or DO with specialization in Psychiatry - Active Oregon medical license required - IMLC accepted - Current BLS certification required - Recent inpatient or consultative psychiatry experience preferred - Ability to meet hospital privileging requirements - Experience with electronic medical records preferred - COVID-19 vaccination required
