Physician Assistant – Outpatient Psychiatry (Leadership Opportunity) 📍 Flexible Location (Outpatient Setting) | Full-Time About the Role A busy, rapidly growing outpatient psychiatry practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care while taking on a leadership role. This position blends hands-on psychiatric care with mentorship, team development, and program oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior outpatient mental health experience. Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose conditions, and manage medications - Provide ongoing treatment and follow-up care for outpatient patients - Lead, mentor, and support a team of Advanced Practice Providers (PAs and NPs) - Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams - Ensure adherence to clinical quality standards and regulatory requirements - Contribute to process improvements and program development Qualifications - Active, unrestricted CA PA license - 5+ years of outpatient psychiatry experience (adult, child/adolescent, or both) - Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred - Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building skills - Strong commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting Compensation & Benefits - $175K – $220K annual salary - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - PTO and CME allowance - Collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented work environment
