Position Overview: We are seeking a full time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our inpatient hospital team in Wichita, Kansas. This full time, onsite role involves providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients aged 5–17. The position offers a supportive environment with a manageable caseload and no weekend or holiday requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for a caseload of approximately 16 patients per day. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. - Manage caseload of 16 patients/day - Full-time, 40 hours per week. - Monday through Friday. - No on-call duties, weekends, or holidays required. Qualifications: - Psychiatrist with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. - Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Kansas or the ability to obtain one. - Active DEA registration in Kansas or eligibility to obtain. - Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
