Psychiatric Mental Health NP/PA Opening St. Joseph, MO Kansas City 55m Full Time | PMHNP or Psychiatric Physician Assistant Position Highlights: Full-time Psychiatric Mental Health NP/PA opportunity Flexible schedule of 3.5-5 days per week, Monday-Friday No nights or weekends Provide psychiatric care to older adults in post-acute and other care settings On-site patient care with remote documentation flexibility Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Evaluate behavioral and patient safety concerns Provide brief psychiatric interventions and behavioral management Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams Coverage area includes St. Joseph and surrounding communities Comprehensive onboarding and training program Company-issued iPad for remote documentation and collaboration Established administrative infrastructure and local management support Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Active, unrestricted Missouri PMHNP or PA license with psychiatric qualifications Active DEA registration or willingness to obtain Minimum 1 year of experience as a PMHNP or Psychiatric PA Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively across care settings Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package W-2 employment with full benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Flexible spending account (FSA) Health savings account (HSA) Flexible paid time off Professional liability insurance Comprehensive onboarding and training Company-issued iPad Administrative and local management support
