Quick Facts - Location: Charleston, WV - Start Date: 01/04/2027 - End Date: 07/05/2027 - Shift: Day shift, 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM (with potential call coverage) - Hours/Week: 40 hours - Employment Type: 6-month contract - Licensure/Certifications: West Virginia medical license (or eligible via IMLC), DEA, BLS, ACLS, Board Certification required - Experience: Prior GI experience preferred, open to qualified candidates Pay & Benefits - Hourly Pay Rate: $526.50 per hour - Pay & Benefits include: - Competitive pay packages - Weekly pay via direct deposit - Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) - Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws - Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable - Robust referral bonus program - 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You’ll Do - Provide general GI outpatient and inpatient care supporting staff of 9 APPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs across three GI locations - Conduct evaluations and manage a patient population primarily ages 18 and older, with an average age of 58 - Perform consults, procedures, and follow-up care within your specialty - Collaborate with support team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes - Participate in call coverage as needed, including night shifts and weekends - Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately using Cerner EMR system What You Need - Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Specialty: Gastroenterology - General) - West Virginia license or eligible for licensing (IMLC candidates or WV temporary license) - DEA license - BLS and ACLS certifications - Minimum of 2+ years GI experience preferred, but open to qualified candidates willing to license - Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This valuable contract position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment at a leading facility in Charleston, WV.
