We are seeking an experienced Adult Psychiatrist for a Locum Inpatient Psychiatry opportunity in Brooklyn, New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care while working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry Experience: Minimum 3 years post-residency NYS Medicaid: Enrollment required License: Current, unrestricted New York State medical license Job Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric care to inpatient adults with acute and chronic conditions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, NPs, nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation staff Lead one group session per week Testify in Treatment Over Objection, Retention, and AOT cases for assigned patients Participate in rotating forensic committee assessments Qualifications: MD/DO with completed Psychiatry residency 3+ years of post-residency experience ABPN Board Certification in Psychiatry Active, unrestricted NY medical license NYS Medicaid enrollment Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid participation Working Hours: Shift: AM Schedule: 5 days/week Hours: 8-hour shifts Total: 40 hours/week Meal Break: 30 minutes Call: No on-call requirement
