Location: Illinois, Remote Part-time, Weekend availability POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Consult Liaison Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients of all ages in Illinois. This weekends-only role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for a provider interested in providing consult liaison services for a Chicago-area hospital with a daily census of 5-8 patients that is expected to increase over the coming year. This Consult-Liaison PMHNP role is currently classified as a 1099 contractor position with a pay per patient model, but IPC is open to discussion of other contract models. Rates are currently set at $80 per initial consultation and $30 per follow-up. _____________ WHY JOIN IPC? Our benefits for full-time providers include: - Credentialing, licensure, billing, and collections assistance, - The ability to change facilities, hours, and roles within IPC's partner organizations, - Administrative support for office management, allowing you to focus on your patients, - Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K with match, - Paid malpractice, and more! _____________ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for patients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults). - Provide consult liaison services to support staff and ensure timely psychiatric interventions. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. - Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in line with clinical and regulatory requirements. - Apply a patient-centered approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and preferences. - Weekends, Part-time only. 12-hour shifts are preferred, but scheduling is flexible. _____________ QUALIFICATIONS - PMHNP - Active, unrestricted NP license in the State of Illinois or the ability to obtain one. - Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one. - Experience with telepsychiatry and managing diverse, multi-age patient populations is highly preferred. - Must be able to work remotely; candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. (Illinois licensure preferred).
