PSYCHIATRY Employment Type: Full-Time Location: USA, Illinois --- POSITION SUMMARY This role provides adult psychiatric care within an outpatient behavioral health setting that operates as part of a larger primary care center. The position functions within a multidisciplinary team and includes responsibilities related to supervising advanced practice providers. The role also offers opportunities to participate in resident education through an established training program within the health system. --- QUALIFICATIONS • Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Psychiatry. • Residency training in Psychiatry. • Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois. • Clinical background in adult psychiatric care. • Interest in supervising advanced practice providers. --- COMPETENCIES • Proficiency in outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment. • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. • Skill in providing clinical oversight to advanced practice providers. • Capacity to participate in resident education. • Commitment to coordinated care within an integrated system. --- WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT Work Environment: Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Academic/Training Program • Outpatient psychiatric care delivered within a primary care–based behavioral health setting. • Collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and advanced practice providers. • Use of industry‑standard EMR and modern diagnostic tools. • Clinical support from a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. • Opportunities to engage in resident teaching within a formal training program.
